Mary is an experienced clinician and researcher. Mary’s research focuses on improving quality of life for people with communication and feeding difficulties. Her major research interest is in the area of child language particularly in supporting children to share their experiences through personal narratives, and assessment and interventions at the discourse level.

Mary’s current role is as a Senior Advisor Professional Standards at Speech Pathology Australia where she has responsibility for skills assessments and university accreditation.
