Adie Wilmot
Research Associate at Curtin University
Adie is an early career researcher working as a Research Associate in the Curtin enAble Institute and Curtin School of Population Health. Adie’s PhD research focused on understanding mental health concerns among children and adolescents with dyslexia.
Prior to commencing her PhD she worked as a research assistant with the Brisbane-based Autism CRC via Curtin’s School for Allied Health. Her role involved co-producing resources to assist young people on the autism spectrum (and the teachers that support them) to navigate the transition from secondary school to post-secondary options. Adie takes a neurodiversity lens and strengths-based focus to her research and is passionate about research that involves community partnerships and practical applications.
